Gender pay gap reporting
It's been mandatory since 2017 for all UK organisations with 250 or more employees to publish and report specific figures about their gender pay gap.
The figures must be calculated using a specific reference date - the 'snapshot date' - each year. For business and charities this date is 5 April.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Gender Pay Gap Reporting requirements for employers were suspended entirely for the 2019/20 reporting year. Therefore, Which? did not publish a report for the snapshot of 5 April 2019.
Although not mandatory, in recent years we have expanded our pay gap reporting to include both ethnicity and disability as this is a key component of our EDI strategy.
Our report explains the gender, ethnicity and disability pay gaps at Which? in more detail and how we are taking every step to improve these.
